Writer, communicator, mentor and lecturer, Katherine B. Quinn is the president of QUINNtessence.

Since launching the company in 1991, Quinn has worked predominantly for municipalities and not-for-profit organizations, including the City of Rochester, Urban League of Rochester, the Private Industry Council, and the Upstate New York Minority Supplier Development Council.
She is known for her sound, practical counsel for small businesses and start-up firms. She has played a significant role in helping some firms expand in the Rochester area.
Prior to opening her own firm, Ms. Quinn worked for two large 4A advertising and public relations agencies and has won numerous awards for her work. Skilled in business management consulting, she teaches entrepreneurial seminars and workshops designed to help fledgling businesses become successful quickly. In addition, she taught marketing communications courses at the Rochester Institute of Technology since 1987.
